Our Story

For almost ten years, Stitch Southampton was a retail boutique and tailor shop located in Southampton Village. We closed our retail store and divided up our sewing machines among the tailors we trained and are now an online store devoted to raising awareness about important organizations and donating 100% of our profits to these organizations.

Our Mission

We’re creative successful women giving back. We are grateful for all we’ve been given in this life and aware of how powerful small acts of generosity can be as they bring about change to the lives of many. We offer creative products that inspire others to be generous and support meaningful initiatives where we can witness and measure change.

100% of our proceeds support Nomi Network

Why Nomi Network?

As you may know, we recently went to India to see the amazing work of an anti-human trafficking organization called Nomi Network. We were so touched after observing the economic empowerment training program and hearing the resilient stories of the women.  We were devastated when we learned about the economic impact that COVID-19 had on these remote and rural communities just weeks after we left.  In Bihar, one of the states we visited on the trip, there are only 4 testing sites for a population of 123 million people.

As expected, Nomi Network quickly pivoted, launching an amazing COVID-19 relief program that’s led by the same women in their programs!

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, Nomi Network has provided food, clean water, and life-saving health and hygiene awareness throughout rural villages in India. Nomi Network trainees and graduates who own sewing machines have used the government-mandated shutdown to produce masks from home and they are even implementing contact tracing through their women-led community outreach program.

As coronavirus cases continue to skyrocket, their health and hygiene-centered response is needed now more than ever.

We've decided to sell masks made by local seamstresses in Southampton, NY to spread awareness about Nomi Network and raise money for their incredible work. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Nomi Network. Give today and help us reach our $30,000 goal! See mask prices below:
